INTRODUCTION

C is a popular general purpose programming language. C language has been designed and developed by Dennis Ritchie at Bell Laboratories in 1972. It is an offspring of the “Basic combined programming language” called ‘B’ developed in the year 1960 at Cambridge University.

C programs are efficient, fast and highly portable. It is a middle level language and bit of structural. The user is required to think of a problem in terms of function blocks. With appropriate collection of different modulus, the programmer can make a complete programme.
